Meet Information
Saturday, February 6, 2010

Invited teams: Wichita State, Texas Arlington, Doane, Butler County

Scoring: All events will be scored 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, international scoring style, 2 athletes score per team

Entries: Unlimited entries per school, including relays.

Prelims/Finals: All running events will be finals except the 60m dash and 60m hurdles. There may be a consolation final depending on the number of entries. Horizontal jumps and throwing events will be given three preliminary attempts with the top 9 advancing to the finals.

Entry procedure: You will need to enter your team via www.directathletics.com by Thursday, February 4, 2010, by NOON. With the new TFRRS reporting format, please make sure to have your roster set and accurate by this deadline. Please enter a realistic projected time so that we can put athletes into proper heats.

Relay cards: Please turn in to the check in area 30 minutes before the 4x400m and DMR relays for ALL relays. Once again with the new TFRRS system we need to have all relay names in the system.

Check in area: Field events check in at field event area 45 minutes prior to your event. Running events will check in and get hip numbers on the backstretch on the inside of the track. Track athletes check in at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled race.

Implement weigh-in:
Weigh-ins for throwing events will be held near the shot put/weight throw circle. Find WSU Throws Coach John Hetzendorf at the check in between one to two hours before the first throwing event.

Facility restrictions:
Please use only ¼ pyramid spikes. Athletes will need to warm up on the track area.  Warming up on the basketball courts is prohibited.  Field event athletes please use white athletic tape or similar for markings, no chalk or cones.

Team areas: Please set up your team camps on the pre-determined areas on the inside of the track on the red carpeting.  No one is allowed on the basketball courts during the meet.  There will also be classrooms available to put belongings.  Please tell your athletes to NOT sit in the bleachers, as they will be reserved for paying fans.

Admission: $2, kids under 12 free. WSU students get in free with their Shocker ID.

Shower facilities: Available on the first floor of the Heskett Center. Please bring your own towels.

Practice schedule: Please contact John Wise (316) 519-3920 if you are planning on practicing on Thursday.
